New Orleans Artist Amzie Adams

 

Amzie Adams is a nationally recognized Artist who has lived in New Orleans for over forty years as a poet, actor, musician, filmmaker and painter.  His style of painting which he describes as 'post-impressionistic spacialism' is a combination of New Orleans dreamscapes and psychedelic color palates twisted and bent to form a unique style of his own.  His work easily conveys the classic and the bohemian flairs of the French Quarter and Faubourg Marigny, the heart and soul of New Orleans.
